Meeting was called to order at 19:50 with 20 present. Tonight we are again having a joint meeting with the SFMMA and the Dade Radio Club.

The SFFMA met first tonight.

Ronnie welcomed everyone to the joint SFFMA and DRC meeting. This is SFFMA's last meeting. The meeting was broadcast live on the air tonight from the EOC.

The microphone was then passed around the room and everyone stated their name and call sign.

Ronnie welcomed everyone again.

The minutes for the November meeting were posted on the web. A motion was made by Margarita to accept the November minutes, seconded by Jeff.

Repeater update:

Ray reported on the 146.760. It's working well. We are using it now. No complaints.

Merritt was not present tonight but sent an email to Ronnie who reported on the 147.000. Still working. Nothing new. Antennas will be replaced shortly by Club funds. Also he is going to be working on the 442.350 (not our machine).

Robert was not present to report on the 220.000.

Carl was not present to report on the 444.200.

Old Business:

Ronnie announced that the check to the Dade Radio Club for our funds ($2,436.57) will be deposited within the next week. Once the check clears, then we can close the account. This is the SFFMA's last meeting. Everything should be finalized by the end of the month.

The Holiday Dinner for this Saturday, December 15, 2007 was discussed. It was suggested that the free pizza tonight for everyone should count as the Holiday Dinner. Ronnie stated that there are not enough people in attendance tonight to have the Holiday Dinner at the EOC. Also, Chris was not in attendance tonight. Jeff stated that we only need 15 - 20 people. A list was passed around and we had approximately 17 names signed-up already. Jeff is going to call everyone to confirm by Thursday morning. The Holiday Dinner will be Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 7:30 PM.

Ronnie asked if there was any further old business. There was none.

New Business

Hollis asked about what constituted a quorum. Ronnie advised that a quorum is the number of members that are present. There was further discussion.

Joanne stated that there is a storm brewing by Puerto Rico, even though hurricane season is technically over and to keep an eye on it.

Ronnie again announced that this is SFFMA's last meeting. SFFMA is now going to join the Dade Radio Club. To join, it is $12.00 for each member and $1.00 for each additional family member. Everything that SFFMA has is going to the Dade Radio Club. It was discussed that the SFFMA website will continue for another year and then it will go to the Dade Radio Club. Randy requested that since the SFFMA website has some very useful links that they be kept and preserved when we merge with Daderadioclub.org. Everyone agreed.

Joanne thanked Ronnie for the last 6-7 years as President. Ronnie thanked everyone that helped make the Club what it was. We are making it one club now - the Dade Radio Club - so that we only have 1 set of expenses. Randy also thanked Ronnie for all of his work for the Club.

With no other business, Ronnie thanked everyone for coming.

The SFFMA meeting was adjourned at 20:15. Dade Radio Club then conducted their meeting.

(After the meeting, pizza was served in the cafeteria.)
