Meeting was called to order at 19:43 with 18 present. Tonight we are again having a joint meeting with the SFMMA and the Dade Radio Club.

The SFFMA met first tonight.

Ronnie welcomed everyone to the joint SFFMA and DRC meeting. The meeting was broadcast live on the air tonight from the EOC. Testing is being conducted tonight in another room.

The microphone was then passed around the room and everyone stated their name and call sign.

Ronnie welcomed everyone again. We do not have a guest speaker tonight.

Repeater update:

Ray reported on the 146.760. Continues to work perfectly. We are on it tonight..

John and Merritt reported on the 444.200. John and Merritt moved the antennas. Merritt explained the problems with the 444.200. We need 2 antennas and help to put them up. Ronnie advised that SFFMA can start it off with $500.00. Steve advised that John had a quote last meeting for $3800.00 with antennas and installation by professionals. Steve suggested that we should keep what we have and all agreed. Other alternatives were discussed. Randy suggested that the insurance coverage be investigated again to include antennas and installation.

Robert was not present to give a a report on the 220.000.

Old Business:

Ernesto and Frank were not present tonight. Ronnie advised that the 150 Break Away Bike-A-Thon took place on April 21 and 22, 2007. There are shirts here tonight for those who did not get them. Randy advised that it went well and the hams did very well.
Frank came in late. The thanked everyone that helped out and reminded everyone that if you did not get a shirt, to see him tonight.

Jeff spoke about the March of Dimes. Everything that we did was great. The hams had out act together as communicators. Rest of the committees need work. The rest stops ran out of supplies. Jeff gave a picture presentation.

Ronnie asked if there was any further old business. There was none.

New Business:

It was discussed that Ronnie does not have keys to the mail box. Robert and Jeff have keys. We need someone to check the box.

We have 10 - 12 paid members.

Ronnie advised that the two clubs will be merging at the end of the year. The Dade Radio Club will absorb SFFMA. Ronnie asked if there were any objections and there were none, Brian stated that it all the same people.

Steve made a motion to look into the bi-laws to see what is needed to join into the Dade Radio Club. Ronnie will see how much it is going to cost for the next meeting and bring it to a vote. Ronnie advised that we have approximately $2500.00 in funds.

Field Day was discussed. It is coming up June 23 & 24. Jeff needs to speak with the persona t parks at Tropical Park and will let us know.

Eddie announced that Freddy is no longer with the American Red Cross.

Brian opened the floor to any other new business. There was none.

With no other business, Brian thanked everyone for coming and advised that snacks were in the cafeteria.

The SFFMA meeting was adjourned at 20:30. Dade Radio Club then conducted their meeting
