Has anyone looked? Please ask around. EOC will not be available forever. Since 75% of members of SFFMA and Dade Radio club are CERT members, EOC should have to let us use it, but no one else will let us in to use the room

If we had to leave EOC or move the meeting to another date in order to avoid conflict, would that be ok. Also, we could use the cafeteria on the 2nd Monday, but we would lose the bells and whistles of this room.

I hope to be at the meeting to present a copy of this proposal to amend the Bylaws JOE AC4TV

ARTICLE 12- AMENDMENT OF BYLAWS

These bylaws may be amended at any regular meeting of the association with a two thirds vote of the members voting, provided that the amendment has been submitted in writing at the previous regular meeting and the members have been sent written notice of the proposed amendment.

Section 3. SECTION 3 DUES AND ASSESSMENTS
subsections b. and c. (subsections b. and d.) will be changed to read:

a. )The association, by majority of those present at any regular meeting may levy upon the the regular membership such dues and assessments as may be necessary for the business of the organization.
____________________________________________________________
b.) The annual dues shall be payable in advance or on or before September 30 of each year. Assessments shall be payable in advance on or before three months from the date of approval.

c.) The fiscal year shall be October 1 through September 30
_________________________________________________________

TO READ
B) Commencing with any change in the Fiscal Year, the Annual Dues shall be payable in advance for the year during first month of the Fiscal Year. For example, a Fiscal Year corresponding to the calendar year (that is, January 1 through December 31)  shall mean the Annual Dues becomes payable during the month of January. Dues may be prepaid at anytime. Special note: During a change in Fiscal Years, Dues shall be prorated, in advance, to accommodate such change; for example, a change in the Fiscal Year from September 30 to December 31, the Dues for the ensuing year would be prorated for the first three months and would be in addition to the Dues for the forthcoming Fiscal Year, that is, the first three months of the current Fiscal Year plus the Annual Dues for the upcoming year.

C) The Fiscal Year, commencing January 1, 2003, shall be January 1 through December 31
