No work was done on Oct. 12, 2006 but I wanted to document the condition of the site.   Weeds in the triangle are all very dead.   Someone has been using some great weed killer.  However the parking area is so over grown it can't be used for parking.  Click in the images to see them full size.   While I was there a family was visiting.   So far, every time we've been there at least someone has come by.   The dirt road is well worn so I know people ARE using this memorial.   

If we wanted to get a street light installed, this is the pole it would be on.   From high up on this pole the whole monument would be well list.   If done, it should be done with a white Metal Halide lamp, not the yellow high pressure sodium.  The white would look better with the gray and sun bleached cement.
